That's the trouble with studying food history - the more you learn, the more you realize how our modern foodways are not at all what we think they are! I

Enjoyed this one and the links! Reminds me of Vija Celmins rocks, and when trying to discern them the question: does it matter? Which I can easily argue for both sides.
